AAUW offers lots of opportunities to get involved with a local community of activists. AAUW branches are groups of local AAUW members working together in their communities for the greater good of women and girls. The Lakewood Branch gives its members a chance to help fund scholarships for local students as well as participate in fun community events. We would love to have you join!

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Student Membership is open to anyone who is enrolled in a two- or four-year regionally accredited educational institution.

AAUW Lakewood dues are $96.00 for regular members. New members may join at any time during the year.

Dual members belong to more than one branch and pay branch dues for each membership, as well as state dues for one or both of the memberships. If both memberships are in the same state, only one payment of state dues is required. If memberships are in different states, dues must be paid to each state.

An AAUW National Life Membership allows a member to pay $1440.00 for 20 years of National dues in one lump sum that is fully tax deductible. In addition, the member would pay state and branch dues on a yearly basis. Members who have paid dues for 50 years are granted Honorary Life Membership, and National and State membership dues are waived. Memberships are transferable to and from other AAUW branches.
